Not a lot of news this month OLDE MITRE, LONDON. Mike Woods reports the sale of the Olde Mitre in Holborn from Punch Taverns along with five other pubs to Fullers who will hopefully treat it with the respect a building of its historic merit deserves. I can add that they took over the Viaduct Tavern not far away and not long back and did a marvellous thing by removing the gargantuan gantry that had been plonked on the bar counter.
